Ernest is a Paris-based food-help non-profit that I’ve been involved
with as a volunteer. The Ernest crowd has a unique energy, but like
many other associations, it can be described as a heterogeneous group
of friends— a big family that wouldn’t fit in a picture because its
borders are so blurry. So, on the occasion of a major event we
organized, I decided to take a veeery long picture.

Concept
The concept was simple: you enter the photo booth and find yourself
on screen with the previous picture displayed as the background. You
can play with the previous picture and press a button to take
capture this instant. Now, your picture gets printed, and you become the
background for the next visitor.
Build
I have no twin
This is how it worked, on the right there is a static picture I just
took and on the left it's the live me interacting with the previous
picture.
the container
thermal printer paper
This prototype had nothing fancy but it's been loved by the crowd.
Spin Off
Later on the project followed us on another event but under another form. This time it was taking pictures automatically if 3 peoples showed up in front of it.
